We offer partial and full-day programs including:
This program is for the child who will be two years old by October 1. Our small class size allows the young child to explore and grow in a comfortable, warm environment. Toddlers learn to follow directions, socialize, and communicate. They are introduced to sounds, numbers, shapes, colors and more. Children do not have to be toilet trained to attend this program, however, the teachers will happily assist them with toilet training as they become ready. This program helps to prepare the young child for a successful preschool experience.
Preschool – 2 and 3 day
These partial week programs are an introduction to the Montessori environment. By its very nature, a partial week program results in a slower-paced exploration of the curriculum for the young three or four-year-old. The children learn to be part of a community as they work with Montessori materials and develop their concentration, coordination, independence, sense of order and confidence essential for all later learning.
Preschool – 4 and 5 day
The four and five-day programs are perfect for the child who is ready to enjoy a more comprehensive Montessori experience. The curriculum is more extensive than the two and three-day programs, providing more opportunities for lessons in practical life, sensorial, language, math, geography, history, science, art, music, sign language, yoga and in-depth unit studies. Each activity is geared to assist children in the development of their concentration, coordination, independence, sense of order and confidence essential for all later learning. This holistic approach creates a joyful, interested learner and an independent, capable, and well-rounded student.
Our kindergarten program allows for freedom of movement while helping the child become accustomed to completing assigned tasks. Low student/teacher ratios allow each child to receive individualized attention as they work with concrete materials to explore concepts in language, math, geography, history, science, and art. Students also benefit from weekly enrichment lessons in music, yoga and sign language. Our nurturing environment provides a sense of community and allows children many opportunities to develop leadership, problem solving, and practical life skills that will prepare them for first grade and beyond.
Our afternoon enrichment program offers opportunities for more in-depth explorations and unit studies in areas such as science and art. We have many program options to fit your needs. Contact us for more details.
